Well Jon and I have been wanting to go out to the races the past few weeks, but due to some crap we couldn't go. Last Saturday though, we went with the del sol and the new turbo.We went by 78th and saw a few cars parked, but no races so we decided to goto gandy. Crossed over to st. pete side and a bunch of cars we in that usually parking lot. Then we turned around and went over gandy again, but this time I decided to punch it and I took it all the way to 100mph (haven't done that in forever). It felt good running 10~psi.

After we crossed I decided to get a drink, so I pulled up into the circle K as I parked into the parking space Jon noticed that it got smokey in the car. I looked out toward the hood and smoke was coming out of it. Popped open the hood and came to find oil all over the place. I was thinking to myself **** Me! Jon said we could either go back take his car or fix the oil leak. I opted to fix the oil leak so we decided to goto Wal-Mart off of 19. Went in and bought a set of wrenches, a hacksaw, and some beef jerky. We fixed the leak, without it leaking at all (the best we ever got it, ever since I had my turbo). I think by the time we got it fixed it was like 3:00 in the morning.

So we headed back home and didn't find much of anything. When we got back into the brandon area we decided to take a little drive down 60. On our way towards all the car dealerships coming from the 301 we saw a black car make a U-turn a little ways in front of us. We manage to catchup to it and found out it was a black civic wiith some z3 fenders. We caught a light at the faulkenburg and 60 little. I didn't know if he wanted to go or not so I took it easy off the line. He didn't even go so I took the initivite and gave him some bov. Not one time but multiple of times. By the time we got in front of the mall I gave up on him and just left him be, but we caught another light together at the kings and 60 intersection. I watched the light and slowly took off. I didn't know if he was trying or not but he was a little a head of me so I just floored and passed him and just shut it down.

Then by the WalMart on 60 I decided to make a U turn heading back to my place. Jon and i started talking about that the civiic was probably going to be the only race we will see all night. Then from behind comes a GTI I think a yellow 20th Ann. Well we caught a light at the John Moore and 60 intersection. I was ready to race him but didn't know if he wanted to to race so I took easy when the lights turned. I started to pace him then I started to put a little more gas into to see if he wanted to go. Then i decided to just hit it. I don't know if he was going or not, but he was up to my back bumper. So I let go a little and he passes me. Both of us slowed down for the light at the Kings intersection. I started to rev it up to launch and patiently waiting for the light. We both take off I pulled up a head of him and was slowly pulling a little before the Long John Silver's we hear this loud thump come from under my car. (I'm ****ting my pants thinking something happened to the turbo). So, I eased off the gas a little and looked back into the rear view. I see my downpipe bouncing off the road. (I was like oh **** i'm lucky its just the dp.) But anyways the gti also slowed down a bit. I caught up to him agian and started to pace him again. Then I hit it but this time he didn't bite so I just kept on going until the next light and decided to turn around and pick up the dp.

I know this was a long ****ty story, but I tried.

-tried to race a z3 fendered civic, but he didn't bite.
-Raced a gti 20th and pulled on it.. 2nd run heard thump got scared and found out it was just the dp.
