Found this in the fabrication forum on honda-tech. A guy thought of it when he didnt have the right parts to finish his project. Similar to some techniques used on headers, where there's a spring on the bolt.

yeah, i thought it was really clean and simple. make sure it lines up though, cuz you cant rotate it

yeah thats pretty cool. I think i saw some manifolds with that. I dont know why they are on then manifold though.

I'd definately do that then having clamps that deform the piping.
