ok, so lets see who knows hondas better than the rest of us......
I've been hearing this clanging sound whenever i brake or sometimes when i turn, but it was never consistant. so today while i was changing my oil i found out what it was, this was hanging under my IM between my axel and the subframe:
so obviously when i was braking or turning it was banging up against the axel and the subframe BUT the question is.......what the heck is it?
there were some wires (all taped up) ziptied to this piece, the ziptie was attached to the hole next to the broken ziptie that is pictured. that was the only thing this mystery piece was holding onto, you can see in the last picture where the thing was banging against the axel and subframe.
Looks like a support bracket/brace connecting the lower part of the intake manifold onto the engine block but I have to double check that for you though.

i didnt bother to read the other replies, but i'd have to guess its that bracket that supports the intake manifold by bolting to the block. i dunno really though
sounds like a good possibility. i haven't gotten a chance to get back under there and really see where exactly it came from but my car seems to run fine without it? so i'm not too worried about it. i guess it'll go into the spare parts box i have lol
