Car now has broken parts

when we were putting the shocks in i decided to rotate the tires and when i pulled the front wheel off i found grease on the fender liner from the cv. also after the shocks were in the steering was floating and felt loose. i thought it was because of the one spring being not seated all the way but i jacked up the front today and i can wobble the wheel back and forth. the tie rod steering knuckle is worn out and i could actually see it move about a 1/16" each way.

so for the cv joint i ordered a new boot for it from ecs and im going to try and get them to send a steering knuckle with that so i dont have to pay double for shipping. then after i get everything installed im thinking about trying to do the alignment. like this http://www.audiworld.com./tech/wheel17.shtml            you guys think it would turn out? or go straight

sucks abt your broken parts.  i've read that the alignments were doable, but kinda hard.  a lot of measuring and time that you have to put in to them.  I'd say go for it though....oh and my dad has a laser lever if you need one while i'm home.  Would be cool if you could do your own alighnment.

what make them heavy duty? heavy duty sounds pretty tough so I'd go with the OEM ones lol.
