Word on the street is that we have some hubs on the way with good wheel bearings in them. Is this true?
So I know it seems like this project kinda sits around alot and we're never actually going to finish it but I think at least me and viet want to get it out to an auto-x someday.
Now that we have hubs there is really not much that needs to be done to get it racing. I'll list: - install hubs with good wheel bearings - pull crank pulley and fix trigger wheel (pulley puller is actually on the car now. we stopped by tonight but didnt bring tools to get the wheels off so i couldnt get the pulley off) - fix shifter cables (they work but its ghetto with hose clamps) - fix fuel leaks (cause all our gas leaked out and now we dont have any) - build a dope exhaust (we got plenty of pipes) - make 3 more lists (cause lists are pointless and make it seem like its almost done)
well this is true i have them in the CRX and they will be in orlando till i go to tampa or you guys come to o town. The bearings seem to be in good shape. But i would check them b4 you install them
I'm gonna give you an engine low to the ground... extra thick oil pan to cut the wind from underneath you. It'll give you thirty or forty more horsepower. I'm gonna give you a fuel line that'll hold an extra gallon of gas. I'm gonna shave half an inch off you and shape you like a bullet. I'll get you primed, painted and weighed, and you'll be ready to go out on that racetrack. Hear me? You're gonna be perfect.
