Well it's week 3 for the koni coils and they havent showed up. So today I called and they now say that the koni's are out of stock and there is no ETA on when they will arrive! (Jon was right!) I asked him what best case senerio would be on time and he said 6-8 weeks at least! Screw that. He said the short shifter is holding there though! Yippie. So tomorrow I will probably cancel the coilovers and tell them to ship me shocks/struts instead. (cause those are in stock over there, already checked.) and go with some neuspeed springs we have in stock at work. But it will actually come out WAY cheaper then coils, and now I can do the rear sway at the same time with the cash I was holding for the coils.
...Oh and while I was talking with Neuseed I asked them what they could do for me chip wise, and the guy said "oh no-problem, just ship the ecu out to me." So neuspeed will give me a 1 bar chip for free, All i pay is shipping. I think it's worth it, even if the apr is a bit quicker. Cause the neuspeed chip will be FREE!
damn dude...sweet deal on the chip. Coilovers are really nice, but you will be realy impressed with the ride on some good quality shocks and springs. also i definitely reccomend the rear sway, it makes the turns much more interesting.
I wonder what happened to koni. Seems like they're going out of business or something or maybe they're factory got hit by a hurricane. but the shocks should be pretty sweet especially with that rear sway.
i just might cancel my koni order too if its going to be 6-8 weeks. ill give them a call to make sure though.
that sucks man. If you want height adjustability a bunch of honda autox guys use the ground control "coilover" sleeves w/koni yelows. the ground controls are pretty much eibach springs with adjustable perch things so you can adjust height. Oh you can even get your own spring rates if you wanted to also, but I don't know if they make them for you car.
Chipping is for omoh's, but its free so its cool. If you send them your ecu that means your going to be driving nothing for a while and thats goin to suck.
