What do you guys think?

I'm thinking of getting rid of the FZR for a daily car, finishing the CB, and then saving up for a newer bike(I got a raise). I disbanded the sprite idea, I just don't have the space, sucks, but oh well, someday... So I posted the FZR up on Vortex, and this is what someone offered to trade:

I am asking 1500 for the bike, and this GTI has a 16v from a Passat in it, not a whole lot else, springs, stronger clutch, a few things here and there, but nothing major. I have a seat to replace that driver's chair, had a Recaro in the garage for ages now. But what do you guys think? Think it's worth 1500 bones? Says the only rust is on the rear apron, floors are solid and original, runs good, and the interior, minus the seat, looks pretty good. Plans would be just some coils, and to drive it while finishing the cafe bike. And getting it prepped for Dragon hunting. And maybe some Cross country trips to CO. So, sound like a plan?

A few, I've had some people want to trade some Volvo's, but they aren't local in the slightest. NC and Tennessee. This guys is local to Central FL. Here is my thinking behind this, I think it's semi-sane, but I'm not sure.

Volvo, while very cool and unique, aftermarket is weak, and they are porky, and it's hard to counteract the weight. Parts are a little tough to find, and it's tough to make them a fun spirited car to drive.

GTI, parts out the wazoo, fairly easy just to make a 'fun' car to drive, and still enough space for some bags, compared to say a Miata, which I also considered.

I'd really like another VW again, but just to start out with something clean, which it seems like this one is. This is about as close to air cooled as I can get. And as Jon may say, this probably can't tow a bike, but, sadly enough, I think I'm done riding in Orlando for a bit. Reason? Well, I don't have health insurance, so I need to get that taken care of, and it's so effing hot, I just get overheated with all my gear on, and I'm not riding without it. I figure I can stick some wheels on the GTI, some coils, and just drive it that way until the CB is done, then who knows.

There hasn't been much interest in the FZR as far as a straight sale, bummer, but not a lot of people want a semi-beat up death rocket. And with making more money at work, I can put some money aside, and save up some coin for a downpayment on a newer car or truck to move the bike around, or just a newer bike to ride around, not sure yet. I just want a fun car to drive around with some style, I think this fits the bill quite nicely. Maybe later when I can devote some time to it I can put some go fast bits on it. Any other thoughts?

I say go for it. Make it fun to drive and go dragon hunting with it. I know where you can find some good sizers.

Might as well gut it too since the interior isnt that great.
