Ok so my weekend started out with me leaving friday afternoon from work in lonwood to Jon's house in tampa to pick him up for the weekend. Then I went back to orlando that night.
Saturday 7:30 am left orlando to casselberry for the start of the FKS rally left there at 8 am got lost downsouth and ended up in miami when we were suppose to be in hollywood or somthing....On the way back jon and I are 4 exits from 50 on 417 car turns off. We thought we were out of gas but nope the dizzy took a crap made a few phone calls scored 5gallons of free gas from a road ranger and had a friend bring me a dizzy and we were on are way.
Sunday 7:45 am my mom comes in the room hey umm its alomost 8 shouldnt you be gone. Look at my phone 19 missed calls from lucas and my girl friend and i run out of the house. Make it from my house to deland in 30min. Do my 4 runs, Jon gets in the car to do his last run pushes the brakes and there were no brakes. Long story short I drive home from deland with no brakes not even calipers on the car they were in the car on the floor. I only had a e brake. So danny comes over and looks at the calipers and is like Man I could fix them.....hahaha no way man ill give you 30 bucks if you fix them.
So danny just left with 30 more dollars and I have a car with brakes again.
Thanks to eveyrbody for there help and Jon for being a trooper with me all weekend. You can drive my car when ever you want to man.
We went to autozone and got a c clamp and he pressed them back in and they work fine now. We also flushed the whole brake system so now it should work. Today I am gonna try to get some cheap brake pads and then go from there.
Yea I'm glad you made it back from the auto-x. That must have been sketchy..driving with just the e-brake. Good thing they work now. You might still want to think about replacing them though.
"What a weekend!!!!!"
I was thinking the same thing. Your car was pretty fun to drive. Alot funner than I anticipated especially on the auto-x. I ended up driving alot even though my car is parked in the driveway. And the best part was that all the cars I drove had mad VTEC yo!(or VVTL-i)
