actually, its the guy with the 337 running a t3/t4, the big greddy IC, custom BT revo programming and whatnot. leaving the ECCO meet abt 5K in first gear there was a bang and then rattling noises. they found a rod and peices of the block in the road, along with all his oil..
the good news is he has another motor in the garage. and this one is going to be BUILT. so he said he shooting for ~500 crank i belive.
I guess thats what ~35 psi does to the stock internals.....
ha ha ha that really sucks. im guessing all that oil going in from his pcv probably had alot to do with that. 35psi and race gas daily is just destined for blowing up
Well it's a good thing they found all his oil on the ground! That stuff is expensive! Anway, he must be running mad hp to those wheels. The stock VW internals are supposed to be sound in the mid 300 whp range. You don't really here about doing internals on our cars, that guys car is going to be siiickk. I thought YOUR car blew up!
