Neil Hodgson (BSB and WSBK Champion and then AMA SBK racer) was asked by an American Journalist about the difference between the tracks in America versus the tracks in England and Ireland. His response:
"Well the tracks in America are very start and stop, except for Miller which is more set like a European flowing track. For the tracks in England, depending on when it was built, they can be more start and stop for the older, more car designed tracks, or flowing for the new FIM tracks.”He continues, “As for Ireland. (Long Pause) They don't really race on tracks.It’s go to the pub for a few pints, close they town and have a go at it with their Mates.”
