I thought this might be fun, what does everyone do for work? Not asking for salary figures, just what you do and if you enjoy it, and if you're planning on making it a career or if your going to school or whatever. I'll start.
Greenway Dodge, back counter parts, not enjoyable, but it usually pays the bills, been here for a little over a year. Planning on going back to school when I figure out what I want to do, and when I get the money together.
Time Inc., lettergen planner. I pretty much design the forms that current and "potential" subscribers receive in the mail asking to renew and stuff... aka, junk mail to most of us but it's a big part of the biz and it pays the bills.
Been with the company for about 5 yrs, going back to school to finish up my computer engineering degree.
I'm going to USF for engineering. not working right now so I can focus on school. I'm thinking about getting something part-time but I'm at the point now where I need to be looking for internships or a co-op so I can gain some engineering experience. I dont really know what I want to do for a career but I've narrowed it down to 3. Some kind of mechanical engineer (excluding anything related to A/C systems), a racecar engineer for some race team, or a surfboard shaper. I mainly just dont want to have a 9-5 cubical job.
I'm lame and work at pizza hut as a driver. Going to get my car fixed so I can go back to school. for what? i dunno yet. my options are continue with mechnical engineering or start over and do graphic/web designing.
i work at the clearwater Costco in the photo lab. which is a pretty cool job and i could make a career out of it if i wanted to beacause its actually a really good company to work for and there's a lot of room for me to advance and make pretty good money but i'm tryin to get some kind of photography thing goin, which is what i'm goin to school for.
